Many people today are concerned about security of online transactions and the sharing of customer information. We want to assure you that we are very serious about the security of information that you give us and that we do not share customer information with anyone.
Once you start to finalize your purchases you will be transferred to our secure server (on some peoples system you will receive a message from your browser that you are going to a secure server, other will see a lock appear at the bottom of their browser). We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security protocols for all sensitive information. Making purchases through an SSL server is much safer than either telephone orders or Internet transactions that are not on an SSL server. SSL is used by major banks, the government etc and is by far the most secure method of transferring sensitive information other than direct person to person contact.
When credit card numbers are stolen from online merchants it is because the information is not stored encrypted only transferred encrypted. To solve this potential problem and for your added safety when you place an order with us using your credit card we do not keep your credit card number in our system. Your credit card information is sent immediately to the processing agency and all we store is a transaction ID. Thus even if someone did break into our computer your credit card information would not be there for anyone to steal.
